Settings

The Settings page is where organization administrators configure organization-wide preferences. Today it contains the organization’s default timezone, with more settings planned for the future.

Access it from Organization → Settings in the sidebar.

The default timezone is used to display dates in the correct local time when no more specific timezone is available. For example, form submission notification emails show the submission date relative to a timezone rather than UTC, so a submission made late in the evening is no longer shown as the next day.

WorkWizard resolves which timezone to use in this order:

  1. The submitting user’s timezone (detected automatically — see below).
  2. The submission location’s timezone.
  3. The organization’s default timezone (set on this page).
  4. UTC, if none of the above is available.
  1. Navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Open the Default timezone dropdown and search for or select a timezone (e.g. America/Chicago).
  3. Click Save.

Each user’s personal timezone is captured automatically from their device the first time they open the app (and updated whenever it changes) — there is nothing for users to configure. This personal timezone takes precedence over the organization default. See the Profile page for details.
