Profile
The Profile page lets you manage your personal account settings, notification preferences, and app appearance. Access it by tapping your avatar or navigating to Profile in the sidebar.
General
Section titled “General”User Information
Section titled “User Information”Displays your username, email address, and assigned role. These are read-only and managed by your organization administrator.
Reset Password
Section titled “Reset Password”Click Reset Password to receive a password reset email at your registered address.
Language
Section titled “Language”WorkWizard supports English and Spanish. To change the language:
- Open the Profile page.
- In the General section, find the Language dropdown.
- Select English or Español.
The app switches immediately — no reload required. Your preference is saved to the device and restored automatically on next login.
Timezone
Section titled “Timezone”Your timezone is detected automatically from your device — there is nothing to configure. The app captures it the first time you open it and keeps it in sync whenever it changes (for example, when you travel).
Your timezone is used to show dates in your local time, such as the submission date on form submission notification emails. It takes precedence over your organization’s default timezone.
Toggle between Light and Dark mode using the sun/moon toggle. Your theme preference is saved per device.
Logout
Section titled “Logout”Tap Logout to sign out of the current session.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”The Notifications tab controls which events trigger push notifications and emails for your account.
Each notification type can be independently toggled for:
- Push — in-app and mobile push alerts
- Email — delivered to your registered email address
Notification Groups
Section titled “Notification Groups”| Group | Events |
|---|---|
| Assignments | User and location assignment alerts |
| Reminders & Deadlines | Assignment reminders, overdue and expired notices |
| Approval Process | Approval status changes and review requests |
| Integrations | Integration errors and list/form sync failures (if enabled for your org) |
| Comments | Comment thread activity and @mentions |
| Lease | Renewal reminders, rent changes, lease expiry (if enabled for your org) |
| Asset | Asset assignment alerts (if enabled for your org) |
| Other | Announcements, file and form access grants, scheduled report emails, custom reminders |
Notifications You Cannot Turn Off
Section titled “Notifications You Cannot Turn Off”A small set of notifications is always sent by email, whatever your email toggle says. These are the ones where missing the message means work stalls or data quietly stops flowing, so the toggle is deliberately overridden:
| Notification | Why it is always sent |
|---|---|
| Approval request | A submission is waiting on you and cannot proceed without it |
| New assignment | Work has been assigned to you |
| Assignment submission complete | Work you are responsible for has come in |
| Integration error | A connected account needs reauthorising |
| Form sync error | Submissions have stopped reaching their destination |
| List sync error | A synced list has stopped updating |
| Lease renewal reminder | A renewal window is closing |
| Lease rent schedule reminder | A scheduled rent change is due |
| Lease expiry | A lease has ended |
Turning Email off for one of these groups has no effect on the email. It does still work for Push — push notifications respect your setting for every event type without exception. So if one of the above is reaching you too often, switching off push is the part you control.
Your toggles also do not affect the notification list in the app. Any event that can produce a push notification is recorded there whether or not you have push switched on, so turning a group off makes it quieter rather than invisible — the history is still there to scroll back through.
App Info
Section titled “App Info”Displays the current app version. If an update is available, an Update Available button appears — tap it to reload and apply the update.
The What’s New link opens the release notes, which include the unread update count badge.
Licenses
Section titled “Licenses”WorkWizard is built on open source software. Tap Licenses to read the terms for the third-party packages that ask to be credited, then select a package to read its license in full.
That is the Font Awesome icon set, which is covered by three licenses at once: CC BY 4.0 for the icons, SIL OFL 1.1 for the fonts, and MIT for the code.
