Walkthrough of “Overview”

A project groups related assignments so you can track them together — a site refit, a seasonal rollout, a run of compliance inspections. Instead of checking each assignment separately, you see the whole effort in one place.

A project is a container for assignments. It allows you to group related tasks, forms, and other work items together. By organizing assignments into projects, you can:

  • Track Progress: See the overall status of an initiative at a glance.
  • Stay Organized: Keep related assignments together and easy to find.
  • Improve Reporting: Generate reports that cover all the assignments in a project.
  • Streamline Workflows: Assign multiple tasks to a project at once.
  1. Navigate to the Projects page from the main menu.
  2. Click the + New Project button in the top right corner.
  3. Enter a descriptive Project Name.
  4. Click Save.

Clicking on a project will take you to the Project Details view. This page provides a comprehensive overview of the project and its associated assignments.

The project details view shows a list of all the assignments that are part of the project. The list includes the following columns:

  • Icons: Special icons may appear to the left of the assignment name:
    • A trigger icon indicates that the assignment was created by a trigger.
    • A repeat icon indicates that it is a recurring assignment.
  • Name: The name of the assignment (from the form or task).
  • Created: The date the assignment was created.
  • Due: The due date for the assignment’s submissions.
  • Progress: A progress bar showing the number of completed submissions out of the total.
  • Status: A chip indicating whether the assignment is Active or Inactive.

From this view, you can also edit an assignment by clicking on the dots (…) next to it.

You can add an assignment to a project when you create or edit it. In the assignment settings, simply select the desired project from the Project dropdown menu.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page.
  2. Click the dots (…) next to the project you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm the action.

Note: Deleting a project does not delete the assignments within it. The assignments will simply be removed from the project and will still be accessible from the main Assignments page.
