Upload lease documents

Who can do thisOwnerAdmin

1. Open Edit Lease and find Lease Documents.
2. Click Add Document and choose a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file.
3. Wait for the upload to finish. Retry a failed upload before continuing.
4. Open the document to check it. On desktop, the preview control can place a PDF alongside the editor.

Uploads attach to the lease immediately. Canceling other lease edits does not remove an uploaded file.

Manage lease documents

Who can do thisOwnerAdmin

1. Open the lease’s Files tab.
2. Search by file name or use Uploaded By to narrow the list.
3. Use ⋮ → Download to open or download a file. Preview a PDF from Lease Documents in the editor.
4. Use ⋮ → Edit to change a document’s display name and save it.
5. To remove a document, open the lease editor, find it under Lease Documents, use its delete control, and confirm.

Deleting a file takes effect immediately. A renamed document’s display name can differ from its original uploaded filename.

Who can do thisOwnerAdmin

1. Open the lease and click Export.
2. Choose File as the Export Type, then click Export to download the bundle.
3. Open the downloaded file to check the result.

Choose Email instead if you want the export sent to your own account email. The export dialog does not ask for another recipient. Use your approved sharing process if someone else needs the downloaded copy.

Walkthrough of “Keep a lease discussion”

1. Open the lease’s Discussion tab.
2. Write a comment in the editor. Add an attachment when useful; use @ to select a teammate if you intend to notify them.
3. Post the comment and check that it appears in the conversation.
4. Use ⋮ → Quote on a comment to include it in a follow-up message.

Use the ⋮ menu on your own comment to Edit or Delete it. Save an edit when finished. Deletion takes effect immediately. Keep decisions and context in the conversation, and make the corresponding changes in the lease editor when the recorded lease details also need updating.
